Renchinlkhümbe (Mongolian: Рэнчинлхүмбэ) is a sum of Khövsgöl Province in Mongolia. (1,059 km from Ulaanbaatar)

I’ve been procrastinating on this project for the longest time. It’s more of a vlog of my summer trip to Khuvsgul with my father and brother.

Why? It should be fun! Why delay it? I can relive the experience through the editing!

Exactly… But once I start editing, the amount of footage I have to go through is overwhelming. On one hand, this is what I do. I’m a content creator. But for some reason, this project remains untouched on my to-do list.

Maybe it’s something else. Maybe it has nothing to do with the amount of editing. Perhaps I’m delaying the enjoyment of editing and presenting the final result to my father. Maybe I’m just cherishing the fond memories of the trip with my father and brother. Because once I finish editing, the feelings may fade. The warmth of the memories will become just another flashback in my consciousness.

This summer was the most peaceful and liberating time for me. I managed to travel a lot with my Sisi, had lots of fun, and, most importantly, immersed myself in nature.

Sisi is watching a flock of sheep.

The highlight was Khuvsgul. Believe it or not, Sisi and I had never been there before. We ventured even deeper into the Khuvsgul province, and it was breathtaking. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen or experienced in my life. The trip to Khuvsgul was particularly special because my father used to go there frequently when he was young but hadn’t been there for a long time. Together with my father, my brother, his two friends, and my uncle, we visited my father’s oldest friend to congratulate him on receiving a big medal for his long years of service in the transportation field.

Dad and Sisi are sitting on a riverbank, watching the fishermen at work.

I was at peace, away from everything, surrounded by nature. It was truly special, and it created many core memories. Sisi was the happiest dog in the world, and her happiness made me happy.

I will finish editing and publish it during Christmas or New Years. I want it to be something special. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should be a project into which I poured my soul.

I’m eager to share my travel experiences in a way that truly captures the essence of the journey. While words can convey a lot, there’s nothing like the power of a well-crafted video. I’ll keep you posted and share the video as soon as it’s ready.
